The Rec-Plex, near City Hall, offers residents a chance to stay active by giving them the opportunity to use their facilities, including ice-skating rinks, swimming pools, an indoor track, a gymnasium (with basketball hoops), and exercise equipment. The Rec-Plex sponsors many sports teams, clubs, classes, and community events. The community art center also offers many opportunities to city residents. These include art lessons, gallery shows, music classes, plays, fencing, fighting, chases, escapes, true love…er wait. I mean it’s a great place, and they really do have fencing.
