Overview
Saint Peters is my hometown. With a population of over 52,000 people it is big enough to offer its residents a variety of entertainment, recreation, and business opportunities, while also retaining a small town feel.
The city government is comprised of a board of eight aldermen and a mayor. The city is divided into four wards with two aldermen over each ward. They meet at the city justice center two times a month in order to discuss various matters of interest. The public is welcome to attend these meetings.
Residents have access to city parks, trails, and a wide variety of community events. There are good schools, libraries, and businesses. Many amenities that we don’t even think about such as animal control, police protection, and street maintenance make our lives safe and comfortable.
